Both starting pitchers are struggling heading into today's game. Milwaukee starting pitcher Manny Parra has a 6.06 earned run average over his last 16.1 innings pitched. Left-handed hitters have a .380 batting average against Parra this season. It looks like Parra will soon be pitching out of the Brewers bullpen. San Francisco starting pitcher Barry Zito has a 7.63 earned run average from his last 15.1 innings pitched. The Giants have lost three of Zito's last four starts. San Fran will be looking for the sweep in this four game series this afternoon and I doubt it will be a pitchers duel.
